Texas State baseball's Feb. 26-28 series versus Lamar University has been cancelled due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the Cardinals team, according to a Feb. 22 statement by the university.

Texas State will look for a potential replacement, which will be announced this week if scheduled.

This is the Bobcats' first COVID-19 related cancellation this season.
