Texas State’s men’s basketball’s (7-4 overall, 1-1 Sun Belt) two-game series, scheduled for Jan. 8-9, against Arkansas State University (3-6 overall, 0-2 Sun Belt) has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns on the Bobcats’ side.
The Sun Belt Conference intends to reschedule the games to a later date that has yet to be determined.
The Bobcats will resume play on Jan. 15-16 away against the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Texas State will return home on Jan. 29-30 against the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
This series would have been the second and third games of Sun Belt Conference play for both teams and the first at home for Texas State.
These are the first games affected by COVID-19 protocols for Texas State.
