The Texas State women's basketball team practices for the upcoming season, Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, at the University Events Center.

The Texas State women’s basketball game against Morgan State University, scheduled for Dec. 21, has been canceled due to COVID-19 travel restrictions put in place by the state of Maryland.

The team is actively seeking to play another Division I team on the same date.

This is the second cancellation of the season for Texas State. A game originally scheduled for Dec. 9 against the University of the Incarnate Word was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns within the UIW program.
